Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, claimed today that the CBI’s search of his colleague’s home was due to their excellent work, which has received praise all over the world.

In connection with the Delhi Excise Policy 2021–22, the investigating agency CBI today conducted raids at around 10 sites, including Manish Sisodia’s home in Delhi.

“The Center sent CBI at Manish Sisodia’s apartment on the day Delhi’s educational model was praised and his photo appeared on the front page of America’s largest newspaper NYT,” Mr. Kejriwal stated.

VK Saxena, the lieutenant governor of Delhi, had suggested a CBI investigation into alleged inconsistencies in the execution of the Excise Policy 2021–22 last month. In the same case, he had also suspended 11 Excise employees.
Manish Sisodia had also called for a CBI investigation into the potential flaws in the policy.

He stated that the CBI would receive complete cooperation and that despite previous cases being filed against him, nothing had come to light in any of them and wouldn’t this time either.
