Bihar Election 2025: Bihar Records Highest Voter Turnout Of 67.14% In Final Phase Of Voting

According to the Election Commission of India, 67.14% voter turnout was recorded till 5 pm in the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections.

Today, the second phase of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 is taking place in various districts, and voters have arrived relatively early in many polling locations, so the polls along the lines are longer in certain locations. The commission will provide reports of the voter turnout at regular times – likely at – 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM and 5 PM. 

Parties of all colours, from the NDA (BJP–JDU–LJP) to the INDIA bloc (RJD–Congress–Left) to Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj, will closely monitor mood and enthusiasm of same-day voters, since turnout is a critical driver of wins in hotly contested elections.

Bihar Elections 2025: Turnout by 9 AM

As of 9 AM, Phase 2 voter turnout stands at 14.55%. Some reports suggest high enthusiasm and long lines at several polling booths. Election officials are trying to keep the voting process going in constituencies, and parties are watching the first response of voters for key contests in Phase 2.

Bihar Elections 2025: Turnout by 11 AM

At 11 AM, Bihar Assembly polls 2025 recorded 31.38% voter turnout, which shows a steady trend of participation in key districts. So far, early trends indicates active participation in urban and rural sectors. Among young voters and first-time voters, there has been a lot of enthusiasm. The turnout figures will be closely monitored for live updates over the course of the day.

Bihar Elections 2025: Voter Turnout by 1 PM

As per the Election Commission, 47.62% voter turnout was recorded in the second phase of polling till 1 PM. Voters showed plenty of enthusiasm while waiting in long lines here and there at polling booths in the districts, displaying engagement in the democratic process.

Bihar Elections 2025: Voter Turnout by 3 PM 

The second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 recorded a 60.40% voter turnout by 3 PM, as stated by the Election Commission. Most of the constituencies observed peaceful polling, with voters lining up early to vote, while an extra security force ensured smooth voting throughout the state.
