CM Mohan Yadav Launches Regional Industry Conclave and Vikramotsav Trade Fair in Ujjain

Ujjain Welcomes CM Mohan Yadav for Inauguration of Industry Conclave and Vikramotsav

The 40-day Vikramostav trade fair and the two-day Regional Industry Conclave, both taking place in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, will be opened by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav today. On Friday, the main event will be held at the Kalidas Academy in the Ujjain district. CM Yadav will also be distributing funds to the Ladli Bahna Yojana beneficiaries during the ceremony. The Ujjain Engineering College in the district will host the Conclave on March 1 and 2, according to the Department of Public Relations (DPR). This project is spread throughout 20 state districts, including Indore, Ujjain, and Bhopal. It is anticipated that 56 projects will bring in investments exceeding Rs 74,000 crore, generating jobs for more than 17,000 people.

Thirty-five companies taking part in the Industry Conclave have agreed to invest a total of Rs 74,711 crore so far. During the conclave, this number is anticipated to increase even more. Thirty foreign delegates are expected to attend in addition to the anticipated attendance of over 800 investors. The government is placing more emphasis on seeing as many projects come to fruition than just going after big industrialists when it comes to signing MOUs. Companies and private investors who are ready to make an immediate investment are therefore given preference. To promote exports, the conclave is centered around a buyer-seller meet. In the buyer-seller meet, over 3200 units have registered thus far. This will facilitate access to the international market for the state’s farmers, handlooms, handicrafts, and agricultural products.

Investors will be able to speak with the Chief Minister one-on-one and directly express their opinions to him. In addition, five sectoral sessions will be held to give industrialists information and to offer in-depth analyses of the state’s industrial policy. Experts in the field will also be available to share their knowledge of the industrial environment and policies of the state. On 644.97 acres of land during the Regional Industry Conclave, a number of industrial units intend to set up plants for a variety of products. The projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for over 12,000 people in the districts of Ujjain and Indore divisions, with a proposed investment of around Rs 8014.94 crore. These courses will concentrate on industries like plastics, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.

CM Yadav will also inaugurate and dedicate various units at over 12 industrial places in the state in the Regional Industry Conclave. In order to spread public awareness about industrial development to every corner of the state, these programmes of dedication and bhoomi pujan are being given a larger scale at the local level.
