In addition to praising the people of Kerala for their warm welcome, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some photos from the first day of his two-day visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s supporters and members of the BJP withstood torrential rain on Thursday to welcome him to Kochi.

His trip to the Adi Shankara Janma Bhoomi Kshetram, the saint-philosopher Adi Shankaracharya’s birthplace in Kalady village in Ernakulam district, was a big highlight. Modi visited and offered prayers while dressed in traditional Keralan garb.

He then wrote, “I am appreciative to the people of Kerala for the affection.

The PM spoke to party members at a public gathering in Nedumbassery and engaged with the state BJP unit in addition to launching several significant development projects in Kochi. According to him, the creation of contemporary infrastructure and the provision of basic amenities to every person in the nation where the central government’s top priorities.

He laid the cornerstones for the renovation of three railway stations in Kerala and officially opened a number of projects, including those of the Kochi Metro and Indian Railways. In addition, he opened a 27-km double line constructed by Indian Railways to connect the Kuruppanthara and Kottayam Chingavanam portions.

When discussing the advantages for Kerala’s young, Modi said that the Center has invested over Rs 1 lakh crore in a number of initiatives in the southern state. “The opening of at least one medical college in each district is being worked on by the national government, and Kerala’s young would greatly benefit from this. The BJP administration is investing over Rs 1 lakh crore in a number of projects in Kerala to construct modern infrastructure,” he added.
