The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Notification 2026, announcing 911 vacancies across multiple Group-B posts under the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The recruitment includes posts such as DASS Grade-II, Assistant Section Officer (ASO), and Legal Assistant. The official notification PDF was published on the board’s website, dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
When will the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 application process start
The online application process for DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Recruitment 2026 will begin on February 24, 2026, and remain open until March 25, 2026.
Candidates can apply only through the official website. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.
How many vacancies are announced under DSSSB
A total of 911 posts have been notified under Advertisement No. 01/2026. Out of these, 576 vacancies are for Grade-II (GNCTDSS)/Assistant Section Officer in the Services Department.
Other vacancies include 180 Junior Engineer (Civil) posts in the Delhi Jal Board and 101 Junior Engineer (Civil) posts in the New Delhi Municipal Council.
The recruitment also includes 33 Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts across the Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board.
The Legal Assistant posts are spread across several departments, including the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, and the Delhi Transport Corporation.
What is the category-wise breakup of DSSSB DASS Grade 2 posts
The category-wise distribution includes 365 posts for UR, 220 for OBC, 140 for SC, 59 for ST, and 127 for EWS, making a total of 911 vacancies.
What is the eligibility for DSSSB DASS Grade 2 posts
Candidates must have a graduation degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Agriculture from a recognised university. The prescribed age limit is 20 to 30 years.
For Legal Assistant posts, a degree in Law is mandatory. Experience requirements vary by department, ranging from one to three years of legal practice or experience in legal work in a government department or PSU. For the Delhi Transport Corporation, candidates must be enrolled with the Bar Council and have working knowledge of Hindi.
What is the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 selection process
The selection process includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 online examinations, followed by Document Verification and a Medical Test. Some posts may also require Skill, Trade, Driving, or Endurance Tests.
The application fee is Rs 100 for UR and OBC candidates. Women candidates and applicants from SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-serviceman categories are exempted. The fee must be paid through SBI e-pay only.
