The US Department of Justice, in recent weeks, has released millions of documents linked to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, including emails, text messages, and images. Epstein, a wealthy financier who ran a sex-trafficking network, was known for his connections with numerous high-profile figures operating behind the scenes of politics, business, and entertainment. The one name that reports mentioned appears in the files is Leonardo DiCaprio.

Leonardo DiCaprio Mentioned in Epstein Files

Newly surfaced material indicates that actor Leonardo DiCaprio is referenced in the Epstein files on at least three occasions.

One email shows former US ambassador Peter Mandelson, who was dismissed from his diplomatic role after further details emerged about his ties with Epstein, including allegations of accepting money and sharing confidential government information—contacting Epstein regarding DiCaprio. The message reads:

“can you think of anyone in india china, japan,, etc, that might want the endorsement of Leonardo DiCaprio,, russia etc… cars etc,, he is looking for non-u.s. products to endorse to make some momey.”

Additional messages from August 2016, exchanged between Epstein and an account bearing the name Deepak Chopra, discuss arrangements for a dinner meeting.

Controversial Claimsof Leonardo DiCaprio Eating ‘Child Meat’ Circulating Online

Separately, a report by the people’s voice circulating online has alleged that investigators uncovered disturbing coded language in Epstein-related communications, including references to terms such as “jerky” and “cream cheese baby,” alongside claims of discussions about consuming newborn babies. The same report further alleges that DiCaprio’s name appears in exchanges connected to Epstein and figures such as Woody Allen, describing supposed conversations about black-market babies and a cannibalism network involving global elites.

The report also claims that documents show Epstein ordered large quantities of sulfuric acid following his 2018 arrest, allegedly as part of a broader trafficking operation narrative. Additional allegations include assertions, presented without substantiated evidence, that DiCaprio participated in extreme criminal acts alongside Epstein.

Lack of Evidence That Leonardo DiCaprio Ate ‘Child Meat’

However, posts on X have included community fact-check notes clarifying that DiCaprio’s name appears in an “Epstein-related document” released by the US government only because Epstein mentioned him during interactions with third parties. According to these fact-checks, there is no record or evidence supporting claims that the actor engaged in any of the criminal activities described in viral reports.
