Tourist from Argentina goes missing after testing positive for COVID

A visitor from Argentina who came to see the Taj Mahal and tested positive for COVID-19 on December 26 has gone missing.

According to Dr Arun Kumar Srivastava, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Agra, a visitor from Argentina who came to see the Taj Mahal and tested positive for COVID-19 on December 26 has gone missing.

The tourist’s samples were gathered during screening at the Taj Mahal, and he was denied entry after testing positive in the antigen test. According to Dr. Srivastava, the foreign visitor supplied erroneous contact information and is being tracked down with the assistance of authorities and police.

He further stated “On December 26, an overseas visitor who had come to see the Taj Mahal tested positive for Covid. He was not permitted to access the monument premises after testing positive in the antigen test. He provided us the incorrect contact information. We are attempting to locate him with the assistance of local officials, police, ASI, and adjacent hotels in order to obtain information on the missing individual.”

Previously, on December 25, a man returning from China tested positive for COVID-19 at the Taj Mahal.
