Six ITBP personnel were killed and 33 others were injured after a bus slid into a steep canyon in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam district on Tuesday while returning from the Amarnath yatra. The police bus, which was carrying 37 ITBP officers and two police officers, crashed into a steep valley between Chandanwari and Pahalgam.
He stated that although two ITBP officers died on the scene, ten others were seriously injured. The crash also wounded 25 ITBP soldiers and two police officers. The bus was on its way from Chandanwari to the police control room in this location.
