Assam Rifles recently organized an enlightening lecture titled ‘Know Your Army/Assam Rifles’ in Maibang, Dima Hasao District, Assam. The event aimed to raise awareness and inspire young individuals to consider a career in the armed forces, as stated in a press release by Assam Rifles.
According to information from the Headquarters Inspector General of Assam Rifles (HQ IGAR) (East), the lecture emphasized the crucial role of Assam Rifles in safeguarding the nation and maintaining peace and security in the region.
It also offered valuable insights into various career opportunities within the armed forces. Attended by 25 enthusiastic youths, the event showcased their keen interest in understanding Assam Rifles’ operations and their significant contributions to national service.
Assam Rifles reiterated its commitment to strengthening community bonds and fostering patriotism and service among the youth, the press release concluded.
