On the final day of her official visit to India, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Jaipur in Rajasthan this morning to visit Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Dargah Sharif in Ajmer.

According to the PM’s press secretary, Ihsanul Karim, “the prime minister will perform nafal prayers and munajat, seeking the growth, prosperity, and welfare of the country, its people, and for the whole Muslim ummah.”

At 9:12 am, the premier boarded a Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight bound for Jaipur International Airport from Palam Airport in New Delhi.

Around 10am, the flight is anticipated to land in Rajasthan.

Officials have stated that she will arrive in the city at noon. A high-level delegation from Delhi visited Ajmer on Wednesday and conducted a last security rehearsal at the dargah. The dargah bazaar market will be closed while Hasina is visiting the shrine. On Tuesday, the roads from Ajmer’s access point to the dargah were restored.

Hasina will be staying at Circuit House in the city thanks to arrangements made by the district administration. “All security arrangements as per protocol have been done for the visit of the Bangladesh PM who is reaching with a delegation to offer prayers at the shrine,” the district administration stated.

Personnel from the Rajasthan Armed Corps will continue to be stationed along the route. According to IGP (Ajmer range) Rupinder Singh, security will be overseen by six IPS personnel. The area will be cleared for Hasina’s protection prior to her arrival at the dargah, and Dargah Bazaar’s roadways will be blocked to traffic. Additionally, windows facing the main road will be shuttered, and armed police will be stationed on the roofs of the structures along each side of Dargah Bazaar.

Several routes will be changed to guarantee that there are no transportation issues for city residents. According to authorities, the market groups support the administration by keeping their businesses closed while Hasina visits the dargah. Police officers would be stationed along the path leading from Delhi Gate to the dargah, they added.
