Congress Protests Against ED: Cong delegation to meet President over police mistreating party leaders

During demonstrations, Congress has claimed that its leaders have been abused

A delegation of Congress leaders is expected to meet President Ram Nath Kovind and submit a memorandum on the issue of police entering party headquarters and allegedly misbehaving with party MPs during protests against the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation into party leader Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case.

The ED interrogated the Wayanad MP for three days in a row, drawing outrage from Congress leaders throughout the country. The Congress Party filed a complaint against the Delhi Police on Wednesday for breaking into and beating party members at 24 Akbar Road without provocation. The complaint was filed at New Delhi’s Tughlak Road Police Station.

During demonstrations, Congress has claimed that its leaders have been abused.

Protests erupted after Rahul Gandhi was summoned by ED over National Herald Case. As per the Congress workers and leaders, Gandhi family is being framed. Pertaining which the Congress called for a protest to show unity in favour of Rahul Gandhi .
