“Parliament Breach Mastermind Lalit Jha Evades Police; Orchestrated Conspiracy Date”

New Delhi [India], December 14: Lalit Jha, the absconding accused in the Parliament Security breach case, is suspected to be the mastermind behind the entire conspiracy, with police officials revealing that Jha had determined the date for the breach incident. However, his role as the mastermind will only become clear once apprehended, according to police sources.

It was disclosed on Thursday that Lalit Jha had convened a meeting in Gurugram where he decided on the date for executing the breach inside Parliament. “Lalit Jha had called everyone for a meeting in Gurugram. Before carrying out the incident, Lalit himself took possession of the phones of the four accused and ran away,” stated police sources.

Lalit Jha, the prime suspect, was last traced in Rajasthan’s Neemrana. Authorities believe he might be attempting to erase evidence from the mobile phones of the four accused, which he had taken with him. Jha reportedly sent a video of the incident to Nilaksha Aich, founder of an NGO in West Bengal working on tribal education, where Lalit Jha was a member.

Nilaksha Aich commented on Jha’s behavior, saying, “He never said anything about anything himself to me. He has always kept his details shady. He never mentioned his whereabouts, who are in his family or not. I have not seen him being violent personally.”

All the accused, including Lalit Jha, were associated with the social media page ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club,’ having initially met in Mysuru about a year and a half ago. Sagar Sharma, who arrived from Lucknow in July, was unable to enter the Parliament House. On December 10, the group reconvened in Delhi near India Gate, where colored crackers were distributed.

Earlier on Thursday, the Lok Sabha secretariat suspended eight security personnel over identified lapses that contributed to the major security breach in Parliament on Wednesday. The breach coincided with the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, involving individuals who jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber, released yellow gas canisters, and shouted slogans before being subdued.

A case has been registered against the accused under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in connection with the Parliament Security breach incident. Four individuals have been arrested, and police are currently interrogating Vicky and his wife in relation to the case.
