Despite speculation that Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti were engaged after she was seen wearing a ring on her left ring finger, sources have confirmed to a leading gossip site that DiCaprio has not popped the big question. While Ceretti was photographed with a sparkly ring while having lunch with DiCaprio at a Los Angeles restaurant on Tuesday, sources say she has actually had the ring since at least 2022, before she started dating the actor.
DiCaprio and Ceretti were spotted on a date at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles. He wore a casual outfit with a baseball cap and face mask, while she wore a tank top, sweaters, and baggy jeans. In a zoomed-in photo, a ring on her left hand as she touched DiCaprio’s shoulder caught attention. However, reports confirm this is not a new piece of jewelry for her.

The couple, who were first linked at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023, seem to still be going strong based on recent cosy photos of them together. This is notable since some speculated they may have broken up after DiCaprio’s costar Teyana Taylor was seen getting close with him at an Oscars party a couple weeks ago. However, sources said at the time that Taylor and DiCaprio are just friends and nothing romantic was happening.
Some believed that after Ceretti was seen with this ring, DiCaprio may have proposed, which would be noteworthy given his reputation as a perpetual bachelor who has never been engaged before. DiCaprio previously dated Camila Morrone for four years before splitting up with her in August 2022, shortly after her 25th birthday.
Ceretti was previously married to Italian DJ Matteo Milleri for three years before their divorce in June of this year. On the work front, DiCaprio will next be seen in a film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
