Former Union minister and BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain criticised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s administration for the law and order situation in the state following two bike-borne criminals’ shooting at nine people and the death of one in Begusarai, Bihar.

The BJP leader paid the injured at Sadar Hospital a visit on Tuesday night. Strongly criticising the Bihar administration, Shahnawaz Hussain remarked, “In Begusarai, I was attempting to establish industries, but right now, bullets are being fired like terrorists are doing in Kashmir and Punjab. There have been so many shootings and injuries. This incident is significant in Bihar. In Bihar, criminals’ morale is rising, and those who help them will not be forgiven by the public.”

The BJP leader claimed that instances of this nature would damage the state’s reputation and questioned the Bihar government about the state’s progress.

“What will the perception of Bihar be across the nation? Nitish Kumar needs to investigate this “said Hussain.
One of the injured, Jeetu Paswan, told the media that the attackers came and fired at him when he was selling ice cream at Malhipur Chowk. He said that he was not the only one who was shot at.

He claimed that assailants on bikes also shot a tanker driver who was on his way to a tea shop in the vicinity of Godhna village.

Seven police officers were suspended by the Bihar Police on Wednesday, a day after a person was killed and nine others were hurt in separate shooting incidents in the Begusarai area.

Jitendra Singh Gangwar, additional director general of police (HQ), spoke to the media and said, “Our patrolling party appeared to be on the streets at first. However, they were either unable to check or stop the offenders. Seven police officers have been suspended in this matter with immediate effect.”

When asked about the attackers, ADG Gangwar revealed that authorities were able to identify the perpetrators using CCTV footage. He claimed that some persons had been arrested and were being questioned by the police.

“All night long, there was checking. Districts nearby were informed. CCTV footage was gathered by a different investigation team. On them, one can see the crooks. We are checking. Several persons have been arrested and are being interrogated “the officials noted

In separate shooting events on Tuesday in Begusarai, Bihar, one person died and nine others were injured, according to a police official.

According to Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar, the police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the offenders.

According to the authorities, two bike-borne attackers are responsible for the shooting events where numerous individuals have reportedly been hurt.

The doctor at the Government hospital in Teghra announced that “two patients with bullet injuries have been taken to the hospital.” The matter is currently the subject of more study.
