Congress MP Sonia Gandhi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, and other key figures were among those who attended the meeting. Six days ahead of schedule, the Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die today.

The session, which began on December 7, was scheduled to end on December 29, subject to business exigencies.

Speaker Om Birla stated in his remarks before adjourning the Lok Sabha that the House’s productivity was 97%. The House met 13 times for a total of 62 hours and 42 minutes.

Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha adjourned sine die Wednesday, seven days before the end of the 258th session. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar adjourned the house sine die, saying he was honoured to be a member of the August House.
