Congressman Rahul Gandhi started his 3,570-kilometer padyatra on Thursday morning from Agasteeswaram in Kanyakumari. At the encampment of the Bharat Yatris, who would walk alongside him, Rahul hoisted the flag to start the yatra.

Gandhi criticised the government, claiming that the BJP and RSS are splitting India along religious and linguistic lines by attacking the tricolour. He asked the populace to preserve the principles represented by the flag. He claimed that the BJP views the tricolour as its own property and claimed that every institution in the nation is under attack. He said that India is on the verge of collapse due to its worst-ever economic crisis, the largest unemployment rate, and other factors.

By the beginning of February of the following year, Rahul and the 118 yatris hope to reach Srinagar after completing their arduous trip. Over the next 150 days, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will go across 12 states and 2 Union Territories.

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, claimed on Wednesday that India is experiencing its “worst-ever economic crisis” and is on the verge of a “disaster.” He also claimed that a small number of powerful corporations are in control of the nation with the assistance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Gandhi claimed that although there was just one East India Company in charge of the nation during the British era, there are now three to four. He was speaking at a gathering in Kanyakumari to kick off the Congress’ “Bharat Jodo Yatra.”

“India is currently experiencing its biggest economic crisis. The nation is on the verge of calamity as unemployment is at its greatest level ever “He said.
