Samsung Rolls Out One UI 8.5 Globally: New Galaxy AI Features, Improved Voice Features And Much More — Check Eligible Devices

South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to roll out One UI 8.5 update globally for the Galaxy Smartphones and tablets on 11th May 2026. The update was initially introduced in South Korea on 6th May 2026 and now it will be joined by Europe, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan in the coming days, with other regions to follow later. Initially, the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will get a stable update while the other Galaxy devices will receive the update later.

List of Devices to Get Update 

Here is a complete list of devices that will start receiving the stable One UI 8.5 update over the next few days: 
 
       *   Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Edge 

 
While some Galaxy A series devices are also expected to get the stable One UI 8.5 update soon. However, it remains to be seen whether they will get the update alongside the flagship phones listed above or sometime later.

How to Get the Update 

 If your device is on the list, the good news is you don’t have to do much. Once the rollout goes live, eligible users can install the update by heading to Settings > Software update on their device. It’s that simple. 
 
Now, here’s something worth knowing before you hit that update button. Those already running the One UI 8.5 beta will see a relatively smaller download, while users upgrading from One UI 8 can expect an update package that is several gigabytes in size. So make sure you are on a good Wi-Fi connection and have enough battery before you begin. 

Not everyone will get the update on the same day. That is totally normal. Since Samsung releases updates in phases, it may take a couple of weeks for One UI 8.5 to reach all eligible devices across every region. So if your neighbour got the update and you haven’t, just give it a few more days. It’s coming.
