Friends of one of the men, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan, claim that on or around July 21, he abruptly ceased communicating with his family while on vacation in Kenya.

Friends of one of the men, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan, claim that on or around July 21, he abruptly ceased communicating with his family while on vacation in Kenya.

According to Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, two Indian citizens, Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan and Zaid Sami Kidwai, have been missing in Kenya since July, and Indian officials are “keeping a careful eye” on this (MEA).

Recently, Khan’s pals have alerted police here in the United States and in Kenya via social media. Friends claim that Khan, 48, was vacationing in Kenya when he abruptly ceased communicating with his loved ones around July 21, only a few days before his scheduled return on July 24.

His pals claim that he was a media specialist who had previously served as the COO of Balaji Telefilms and had previously worked with Star India and Eros Now.

Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan and Zaid Sami Kidwai, two Indian nationals, were there, according to what we understand. Since July 23 they have been missing in Kenya. Soon after that, a police report was made there. A habeas corpus petition was subsequently submitted to the Kenyan court. According to what we gather, the High Court of Kenya is now hearing the case, and several sessions have already taken place. There was a hearing this week. The Kenyan government and our High Commission have been in constant communication. We are also communicating with some of their relatives. When questioned about the scenario during a media event on Friday, Bagchi stated, “We have attached the utmost care to the safety and well-being of these Indian people.”

“I have nothing new to report. In Kenya, this is being handled via the police and legal systems. On this, we are keeping a careful eye. They are still missing, I’m afraid at this time, he continued.

Khan, a native of Mumbai, graduated from Hansraj College at Delhi University. While visiting Kenya, a buddy who wished to remain anonymous said that he was in between jobs. His travel habits were distinctive. He would visit a location and stay there for a month to really experience it. He has been doing it for some time. We were surprised by his departure since we believed he would ultimately return. The buddy stated, “We are hopeful that someone will be able to search for him.

Khan’s family and friends last heard from him when he was in Nairobi, according to a different buddy of his who claimed to have made friends in Kenya as well. According to the buddy, Khan travelled to Kenya in the final week of June on a tourist visa. According to the buddy, his family had contacted the MEA and provided the authorities with his information.
