However, 16,047 new infections were recorded in the nation yesterday, with a case positive rate of 4.94 percent. As a result, the nation’s active caseload, which was 1,28,261 yesterday, is now 1,25,076.

According to Ministry, 19,431 COVID patients have recovered in the past 24 hours. There have been 4,35,55,041 recoveries throughout the nation as a whole.

At the moment, the recovery rate is 98.53 percent.

During this time, 3,56,153 COVID samples were examined. To far, 87.92 crore tests have been performed across the nation.

A 4.85% weekly positive rate is recorded.

In the last 24 hours, 25,75,389 doses of the COVID vaccine were given as part of the countrywide immunisation campaign. The total number of vaccine doses given up to this point is 207.29 crore, of which 93.69 are booster shots and 11.49 are preventative doses.
