Sushil Kumar Modi, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Rajya Sabha MP, said on Tuesday that the state’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is on a political tour in the national capital while the people of Bihar are experiencing a flood.

Sushil Modi said that Bihar is drowning in floodwaters and that the chief minister has arrived in the national capital on political tourism. He mentioned that Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had already visited six states, and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has also camped in Delhi several times. “Now that Nitish Ji has arrived, and the Lok Sabha poll is nearing, Nitish Kumar has gone to Delhi on political tourism,” he explained.

The water level in the Ganga was allegedly rising on Saturday, causing flooding in Bhagalpur and even entering the university and institutions.

“This will not produce any results, and these people are stuck in the 1990s, remembering the governments of the United Front, National Front, Deve Gowda, and Inder Kumar Gujral. India has gone a long way since then, yet they still have a 90s attitude. Except for Kerala, the Left Parties no longer exist in the country “According to the Rajya Sabha MP.

On Nitish Kumar’s claim that he is not even a claimant and does not even want the PM nomination, the BJP’s Upper House MP from Bihar added, “See, he is eager to become Prime Minister of India (Mann me to laddu fut raha hai PM banne ke liye) as they raise slogans and install posters, but he has fallen behind and they fear that if he speaks for the Prime Minister’s post from now on, a problem may arise for not accepting him. Will Arvind Kejriwal agree to see Rahul Gandhi? Will Mamata Banerjee be accepted? Who is going to accept Nitish Kumar? “He continued.

On Thursday, posters depicting Nitish Kumar as a prime ministerial candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha election were displayed in Patna, promising good administration and with the phrase ‘Pradesh mein dikha, desh mein dikhega.’

Another poster mocked the BJP with the message, “Jumla Nahi Haqiqat Hai” (No lies only reality).

“This is not the BJP of 2014, this is the BJP of 2024, and Narendra Modi’s popularity is rising regularly, therefore Nitish Kumar would not be able to unify the opposition parties even if he put in millions of attempts,” Sushil Modi added.

“He has come to Delhi on political tourism to stay in the media,” said Bihar’s former deputy chief minister.

Nitish Kumar came to Delhi on Monday afternoon to campaign for Opposition unity for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, his first visit since breaking with the BJP and forming a ‘Mahagathbandhan’ government in Bihar with Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Congress, and other parties.
