At Delhi Cantonment, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) constructed Sainik Aram Grah, a cutting-edge transit facility for the Indian Army.

This Aram Grah is a four-story (G+3) building with one mess, four dorms with 13 beds each, and 46 double-bedded rooms. This will benefit both active-duty and retired Army members, as well as their relatives, especially those seeking medical attention at base hospitals.

Army has completed horticultural and interior decorating tasks. In order to build the heritage line, DMRC has acquired a plot of land from the Indian Army next to the Lal Quila in 2014.

According to the stipulations of the land transfer, DMRC was expected to build a Sainik Aram Grah at a location designated by Army officials.

In Delhi Cantonment, the Army finalised the purchase of land close to the base hospital in 2019. The site was given to DMRC, and in February 2020, building on the facility began. The building was just just finished.

Earlier on August 25, the facility was officially opened by the general officer in charge of the Western Command. In addition to this, DMRC is also building another comparable facility in Khanpur.
