Khushbu Sundar, Kaveree Bamzai, and Ssumier Pasricha attended the panel discussion on breaking labels in the first edition of the We Women Want and Shakti award conclave hosted by ITV Network. Kaveree Bamzai is a political analyst and while talking about breaking labels she reiterated “when we look beyond these labels is when we realise the kind of contribution made by the women to the country and to the economy.”

She also added ” the most difficult part of farming is done by the women and I wont shy away from saying that they work 10 times harder than men.”

Ssumier, an actor, raised the question of “who made these sanskars (ethics), and we are rather conditioned to act in a particular manner as speaking of medieval time, there were no such restraints which made us act like we do now.”

Khushbu Sundar, a BJP Leader, and actress said “we need to teach our daughters that your home is always open for you, be courageous to come back because one shouldn’t tolerate any kind of abuse just because you got married.”

While talking about his face impersonation of “Pammi Aunty”, Ssumier said he hates the character the most as the character is an epitome of how duplicitous and hypocritical society is.

The panel discussion ended on a lite note where the anchor took a swipe over the name of the conclave by saying some men misread the title as we want women.
