Aravind Limbavali, a BJP MLA from Karnataka, has once again put his foot in his mouth after defending his ‘misbehavior’ with a woman and questioning why it became an issue.

“What exactly did I do? Did I rape her? “He asked in another shocker after his video of him abusing a woman went viral and drew criticism.

Aravind Limbavali visited the flood-affected and waterlogged areas of Bengaluru’s Whitefield on Saturday.

When a woman questioned him about the construction of a building, he was seen threatening her with jail if she didn’t back down.

The Congress party accused the MLA of oppressing women in his constituency. The party’s official Twitter account posted, “Shouldn’t the media speak up for women’s dignity?” Should women not speak up? Arvind Limbavali has oppressed women as well as the media. It is certain that the people of the state will be punished for such brutality and deplorable behaviour. Do you agree with this attitude, @BSBommai?”

The latest video, in which the MLA mentions ‘rape’ while rebuking a journalist, has enraged social media users.
