The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) introduced the campaign anthem “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar” at its National Council meeting held at Bharat Mandapam over the weekend, setting the stage for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The multilingual anthem, featuring lyrics in 24 Indian regional languages, was launched as part of the party’s commitment to inclusive development across diverse sectors and regions, according to the Narendra Modi government.

The campaign slogan, “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar,” was unveiled by party national president JP Nadda in January 2024, accompanied by wall paintings across the country under this thematic initiative. The anthem, embodying the party’s vision, emphasizes inclusive progress spanning various demographics and societal segments.

Employing a comprehensive 360-degree approach, the BJP has initiated the digital leg of the campaign with the release of the anthem. Additionally, the party has inaugurated the Ekbaarphirsemodisarkar website to engage with the public and disseminate campaign-related information.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing party leaders and supporters on the closing day of the BJP’s National Convention at Bharat Mandapam, highlighted the government’s decade-long tenure characterized by bold and transformative decisions. PM Modi remarked, “The last 10 years of our government stand testimony to courageous and far-reaching decisions. We resolved tasks that had been pending for centuries.”

PM Modi underscored key accomplishments, including the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the renaming of ‘Rajpath’ as ‘Kartavya Path,’ and the fulfillment of the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ demand. He also spoke about legislative milestones such as the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam,’ aimed at enhancing women’s representation in Parliament and state legislatures, and the abolition of the practice of Triple Talaq among Muslims.

Reflecting on the transformation witnessed over the past decade, PM Modi expressed, “The BJP workers are fortunate to have witnessed revolutionary changes over the past 10 years of our government. During our decade in governance, the country has not only come to cherish its heritage but also flaunt it with pride.”

On the inaugural day of the national convention, the BJP passed a significant political resolution titled ‘Viksit Bharat,’ emphasizing the achievements of the BJP-led NDA at the Centre under Prime Minister Modi. The resolution confidently asserted the BJP’s return for a third term, pledging to continue its roadmap for holistic development and welfare.
