Bihar man arrested for threatening Sharad Pawar

According to Mumbai Police, a man from Bihar was detained after allegedly threatening Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar with death.

According to Mumbai Police, a man from Bihar was detained after allegedly threatening Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar with death.

“Narayan Kumar Soni, a resident of Bihar, has been apprehended. He contacted NCP President Sharad Pawar’s Silver Oak house yesterday and threatened to murder him. He is scheduled to appear in court today ” stated Mumbai Police.

According to the authorities, the accused is also psychologically disturbed. He spent ten years in Pune. The accused informed the police that after his wife left him and married another guy, he sought Sharad Pawar about his situation.

“He (Pawar) made no attempt,” Soni claimed. Soni became enraged and began to threaten him at this point.

Earlier on Tuesday, police reported that the NCP President had received a death threat over the phone.
