UP CM Yogi Adityanath hails Budget 2023 as 'welfare budget'

Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, called the General Budget 2023-24 a “welfare budget” on Wednesday. According to a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on taking care of the interests of society in the budget.

The CM stated in a tweet that the Union Budget 2023-24 would pave the way for the development of all segments of society and propel the country to the status of economic superpower. The Chief Minister stated that the Union Budget will assist meet the dreams and expectations of the nation, particularly the villages, poor, farmers, youth, and women, and will surely prove to be a watershed moment in India’s journey to becoming an economic superpower.

“I welcome the all-inclusive and public-welfare oriented Union Budget 2023-24 for fulfilling the resolution of ‘Developed India’ presented during the Amrit Mahotsava” CM Yogi said.

Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Finance Minister, delivered the Union Budget 2023 in Lok Sabha today. The government delivered the budget in a paperless format for the third time in a row. The highlights of the Union Finance Minister’s budget presentation featured large incentives under the new income tax regime.
