Former skipper of the Indian Cricket team Virat Kohli on Sunday became the second player to reach 16,000 runs in international white-ball cricket.

During the third T20I match against Australia in Hyderabad, Kohli attained this milestone. The “Chase Master,” Virat Kohli, was in full flow during the game, alternating between the roles of attacker and anchor as needed. In 48 balls, he scored 63 runs, including three fours and four sixes. His strike rate, which was 131.25, was also rather good.

Suryakumar Yadav (69) and Kohli had a fantastic partnership that was worth 104 runs.

With T20I and ODI runs combined, Kohli now has 16,004 runs. These runs were scored across 352 innings in 369 matches of white-ball cricket, averaging 55.95. In white-ball cricket, he has scored 44 hundred and 97 half-centuries.

In 262 ODIs, he has amassed 12,344 runs at an average of 57.68. His bat has produced 43 centuries and 64 half-centuries, with the highest individual score of 183.

He has 3,660 runs at an average of 50.83 in 107 T20I games. Kohli has amassed one century and 33 half-centuries in the shortest format, with a high of 122*.

Additionally, Kohli ranks second all-time in runs scored in white-ball cricket.
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar became the first player in white-ball cricket to reach 16,000 runs.

Tendulkar participated in 463 ODIs, hitting 18,426 runs at a 44.83 average. His bat produced 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries, with a top total of 200*.

On the other side, he only scored 10 runs in the one T20I the Master Blaster played.

Sachin has amassed 18,436 runs at an average of 43.58 in 464 white-ball games.
