Terrorists shot and killed a non-local labourer called Mohd Amrez in the early hours of Friday in the Bandipora area of Jammu and Kashmir. He died of his injuries after being sent to a hospital for treatment.

Amrez was from Madhepura in Bihar and had been in the Union Territory for three months. The Kashmir Police Zone sent a tweet “Terrorists opened fire on and injured one outside labourer, Mohd Amrez S/O Mohd Jalil R/O Madhepura Besarh Bihar, in Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora, during the intervening night. He was sent to the hospital for treatment, where he died “.

The dead person’s sibling revealed “When my younger brother awoke about 12.20 a.m., he stated that his brother was not sleeping. He was bleeding and had three gunshot wounds when he opened the gate. I phoned the Army when he woke me up “. He said, “We’ve been here for three months. We remained here for 6 months the previous time we arrived “.

Lalit Ambardar, a Kashmiri activist, opened up about the targeted killing: “I have always believed that Kashmir Jihad is alive and well. The Kashmir Jihad resulted in the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. And the most recent round of killings began with the targeted assassination of Kashmiri Hindus working in the Kashmir Valley but residing in Jammu as refugees and non-locals. This is a hybrid conflict. They don’t have to kill ten people all at once. They will murder one to instill terror psychosis in the remaining thousands. It is taking place there. We must take it quite seriously.”

“During the intervening night, terrorists shot at and injured one outside labourer Mohd Amrez S/O Mohd Jalil R/O Madhepura Besarh Bihar at Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora,” the Kashmir Zone Police posted on Twitter. He was sent to the hospital for treatment, where he died.”

Senior Congress lawmaker Abhishek Singhvi expressed regret over the occurrence on Twitter, writing, “The shooting of a Bihari labourer in Kashmir, following a spate of murders of anybody travelling to work there, is yet another proof that this government has failed on the internal security front. Can you call yourself a success if you can’t defend your citizens?”

In June, a 17-year-old migrant labourer from Bihar was murdered and another was injured after militants opened fire on them in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam on Thursday night. The non-locals worked at a brick kiln in Chadoora village, Budgam district.

Terrorists fired at a Hindu teacher in the Gopalpora region of Kulgam district in south Kashmir on Tuesday in May. She died as a result of her injuries.
