According to a release from the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi will go to Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Rajkot, Kevadia, and Vyara during the two-day tour. The Prime Minister will open the Defence Expo-22 in Gandhinagar on Wednesday at about 9:45 a.m.

The occasion will highlight India’s impressive capabilities in the field of defence manufacturing. Ten state pavilions and one India Pavilion will be present at the Expo. The prime minister will officially open the Gujarati Deesa airfield’s foundation. The forward air force base will strengthen the nation’s security system.
The second India-Africa Defence Dialogue, with the topic “India-Africa: Adopting strategy for synergizing Defence and Security cooperation,” will also take place during the Expo. During the Expo, there will also be the 2nd Indian Ocean Region+ (IOR+) Conclave, which will serve as a forum for a thorough discussion to advance defence cooperation among IOR+ nations to promote peace, growth, stability, and prosperity, in keeping with the Prime Minister’s vision for Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR).
The inaugural Investors’ Meet for defence will take place in conjunction with the Expo. At Manthan 2022, iDEX’s defence innovation event, more than a hundred entrepreneurs will have the chance to present their technologies (Innovations for Defence Excellence). Through the event “Bandhan,” 451 collaborations and launches will also be formed.
The Prime Minister will officially open the Mission Schools of Excellence in Adalaj at about noon. A total of 10,000 crores have been invested in the mission. The Prime Minister will announce projects worth about Rs 4,260 crore at the Trimandir ceremony.
By constructing new classrooms, smart classrooms, and computer laboratories, and generally upgrading the infrastructure of schools in the State, the Mission will aid in bolstering Gujarat’s educational infrastructure.
He will then head to Junagadh after that.
He will lay the first stone for several construction projects in Junagadh at about 3:15 p.m. Later, at approximately 6 o’clock, he will dedicate and lay the cornerstone for other significant projects in Rajkot and open the India Urban Housing Conclave 2022. Around 7:20 p.m., he would also open an exhibition of cutting-edge building techniques in Rajkot.
The Prime Minister will formally launch a number of construction initiatives totaling about Rs 3580 crore in Junagadh.
The Prime Minister will formally lay the groundwork for the building of the missing linkages and improvements to the coastal roadways. This project’s first phase will encompass 13 districts and more than 270 kilometres of roadway.
The Prime Minister will officially lay the cornerstone for the development of a godown complex in Junagadh and two water supply projects. He will also lay the cornerstone for the Porbandar Fishery Harbour’s maintenance dredging, water supply, and sewage projects. The Prime Minister would dedicate and lay the cornerstone for projects in Rajkot valued at about Rs 5860 crores later that evening.
The Gujarati PM Modi will lay the cornerstone for the six-lane expansion of the current four-lane Rajkot-Gondal-Jetpur portion of NH27.
Additionally, he will lay the cornerstone for other GIDC industrial estates worth around Rs 2950 crore in Morbi, Rajkot, Botad, Jamnagar, and Kutch. The AMUL-fed dairy facility at Gadhka, the development of an indoor sports centre in Rajkot, two water supply projects, as well as other projects in the roads and railways sectors are other projects whose foundation stones will be placed.
Then, on Thursday at about 9:45 a.m., the Prime Minister will officially announce the opening of Mission LIFE in Kevadia, in front of the UN Secretary-General, at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia.

The Prime Minister will attend the 10th Heads of Missions Conference in Kevadia on Thursday at about noon.
118 Heads of Indian Missions (Ambassadors and High Commissioners) from throughout the world will attend the conference. The Conference will offer the chance to engage in in-depth internal debates on topics including the current geopolitical and geoeconomic environment, connectivity, India’s foreign policy goals, etc. through its 23 sessions spread over three days. In order to become more familiar with India’s Flagship Missions, including those relating to Aspirational Districts, One District One Product, and the Amrit Sarovar Mission, among others, the Heads of Mission are now visiting their respective states.
The Prime Minister would lay the cornerstone for many development projects costing more than Rs1970 crore later that evening at Vyara, Tapi.
He will lay the cornerstone for the building of the missing connections as well as an upgraded route from Saputara to the Statue of Unity.
Water supply projects in the Tapi and Narmada districts, valued at more than Rs 300 crore, are among the other initiatives whose cornerstone will be laid.
