In September, the India Eurasia Trade Council (IETC) organized the India-Armenia Conference 2022 in Bengaluru, where discussions with the Armenian Ambassador encompassed bilateral economic cooperation and promising proposals for joint implementation.

In another meeting, EAM Jaishankar met with Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina to discuss various matters, including enhancing trade, investment and development partnerships.

World leaders, including EAM Jaishankar, have converged in New York for the ongoing UNGA session. The External Affairs Minister is set to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 26, according to the Ministry of External Affairs.

Following his engagements in New York, Minister Jaishankar will travel to Washington, D.C., to continue discussions and diplomatic initiatives.

During his visit, Minister Jaishankar also participated in the India-UN for Global South: Delivering for Development event, where he interacted with other foreign ministers and leaders. In addition to these bilateral meetings, he held discussions with Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Manet Hun, focusing on strengthening relations.

These diplomatic efforts underscore India’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and collaboration across various regions, as discussed in EAM Jaishankar’s engagements at the UNGA session.
