Chhattisgarh Police arrests three Naxals involved in Bukintor IED blast

On Wednesday, three Naxals allegedly implicated in the Bukintor blast were apprehended in the Narayanpur area of Chhattisgarh.

Sadanand Kumar, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Narayanpur, stated those arrested include the major accused.

According to the police official, “DRG Narayanpur detained three Naxals in connection with an IED blast on March 23, 2021 between Camp Kadenar and Kanhargaon that killed five jawans. The incident’s chief suspect and mastermind has been apprehended.”

Maniram Darro alias Ranjit, Ramdhar Korram alias Rai singh, and Bhagat Korram have been identified as the arrested Naxals.

An improvised explosive device was used by the Naxal squad to blow up a bus transporting police officers near Bukintor hamlet, between Kanhargaon and Kadenar (IED).

In the event, five jawans were killed and 13 others were injured.
