Another labourer from West Bengal was shot at by terrorists on Friday in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, continuing a trend of migrant murders in the Valley.

Muneerul Islam, the victim, has been taken immediately to a nearby hospital, where his condition is believed to be stable, according to police.

“Terrorists fired at Muneerul Islam from West Bengal in Pulwama. He has been shifted to district hospital where his condition is stable. The area has been cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” said J&K Police.

Earlier, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora area shot and killed a migrant worker from Bihar. Terrorists fired upon the labour late on Thursday night the police said.

Mohammad Amrez, a resident of the Bihar district of Madhepura, has been identified as the deceased. Amrez was taken to the hospital in a critical condition but later died.

The incident happened within 24 hours of a failed infiltration bid by terrorists at an Army camp in Rajouri. Two terrorists were shot down while four soldiers lost their livers in the pre-dawn suicide strike .

The four Army personnel who died in the attack were Subedar Rajendra Prasad (of Maligoven village in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district), Rifleman Lakshmanan D (of T Pudupatti village in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai district), Rifleman Manoj Kumar (of Shahjahanpur village in Haryana’s Faridabad), and Rifleman Nishant Malik (of Adarsh Nagar
