Ashi Khanna, Richa Mehta, Sejal Kumar, and Suhani Shah attended the panel discussion on their trailblazing journey in the first edition of the We Women Want and Shakti award conclave hosted by ITV Network. Richa Mehta who takes pride in being called an Influencer talked about the negative connotations that digital creators are entitled to these days, and how some people just objectify them for their face.

Richa Mehta who has endorsed over 300 brands has 131k followers on Instagram. In contrast, Ashi Khanna who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram also elucidated the pivotal change in what digital creators used to be and are now.

She also added, “People used to see this more of a hobby than a profession and now finally they have started respecting and treating it as a profession.”

Mentalist Suhani Shah illuminated some light on how difficult it was to engage with the audience digitally as everyone was confined to their own spaces due to the unprecedented times. But it came as a blessing in disguise and it was one of those professions which didn’t take a hit because of Covid-19, as it made people use the internet way more than they used to.

“Now women are cognizant of the fact what they really want and now they are not just wanting it they are earning it by themselves,” she added.

Sejal Kumar gave her insight on being budget-friendly when one is aspiring to be a digital creator, she added how she started with a very little budget and utilising everything that she had in her space rather than going out and buying stuff, she also told NewsX about her new music projects which are in pipeline.
