Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of ‘Maidaan’, one of the most ambitious films of his career. The sports drama is set to release alongside ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ this Eid , which has created a great deal of buzz among fans.

Speaking at the trailer launch of ‘Maidaan’, Devgn addressed this situation and said there are “certain obligations” because of which films release on the same day. He further said that there isn’t really ‘a clash’ between these films as they cater to different audiences.

“First of all I won’t call it a clash. If you are calling it a clash, then in your language I wouldn’t want two films to release at the same time. However, there are certain obligations due to which the films are to be released. We’re looking at it in the terms that there is a good big weekend, so both the films would perform well (at the box office),” he told the media
