‘Pushpa 2’ Will Have Bigger Conflicts and More Masala than First Part, Says Rashmika Mandanna

Rashmika Mandanna will soon be seen in ‘Pushpa 2’, one of the biggest films of the year. The Telugu movie has created a great deal of buzz among fans as it features Allu Arjun in a new avatar.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the ‘Dear Comrade’ star said her character will have “some responsibilities’  in the sequel as she is now a married woman. The actor further added that there will be “more drama” in ‘Pushpa  2’ than the first part. 

“My role in Pushpa 2 is that now she has become the wife and with becoming the wife of Pushpa, there are still some responsibilities to carry. In Pushpa 2, there is a lot more drama and bigger conflicts that we are facing as characters. There’s going to be a lot more masala in part 2,” said the star.

Rashmika plays Srivalli, the protagonist’s lover-turned wife, in ‘Pushpa 2’. Her chemistry with Bunny was a highlight of the first part. Going by her recent revelation, their scenes will be more gripping this time 

 ‘Pushpa 2’ centres on a labourer who locks horns with dangerous foes to emerge as a prominent smuggler. The film is being directed by Sukumar, who previously collaborated with Allu Arjun for the ‘Aarya’ and ‘Aarya 2’. The actioner features Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. The cast also includes Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, and Anasuya. Devi Sri Prasad has composed its soundtrack. ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to open in theatres on August 15.

Coming back to Rashmika, she was last seen in ‘Animal’. The actioner  emerged as a massive hit and received favourable reviews from most critics. The film was directed by Sandeep Vanga of ‘Arjun Reddy’/’Kabir Singh’ fame. The Ranbir Kapoor-led film’s cast included Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saurabh Sachdeva. The Kodava Beauty also has ‘The Girlfriend’ and ‘Rainbow’ in her kitty.
