India reports 8,586 new COVID-19 cases

India presently has 96,506 active cases, which represents 0.22 percent of all cases. At the moment, the recovery rate is 98.59%. The number of recoveries increased to 9,680 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 43,7,33,624.

According to government figures, more than 210 crore vaccine doses have already been given as part of the statewide COVID-19 immunization campaign.

Union Government is dedicated to stepping up and broadening the COVID-19 immunisation programme nationwide.
