Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and other senior officials paid homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the fifth anniversary of his passing today.


Images circulated on social media showed the three leaders paying floral homage to the late leader at the Sadaiv Atal memorial park in the national capital. Others present included Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Vajpayee’s foster daughter Namita Kaul Bhattacharya.
