Amit Shah to hold high-level meetings on Leh-Ladakh

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will host two back-to-back high-level talks on Leh-Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday evening.

According to top government sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will host two back-to-back high-level talks on Leh-Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday evening.

The meeting in Leh-Ladakh will start at 3 p.m., while the one on Jammu and Kashmir will start at 4 p.m., according to people close to the situation. The Lieutenant Governors of both the Union Territories of Ladakh and J-K will attend the meetings, which will be placed in the Ministry of Home Affairs North Block office.

Aside from the L-Gs, the meeting will also include Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and top officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the two UTs.

According to reports, the sessions will cover development initiatives in both UTs, as well as security and other problems.

It is also likely that both UTs would be urged to take necessary precautions in the aftermath of the Covid danger. It will also be proposed that the UTs increase their medical products and acquire them as needed, as well as distribute messages to all village surveillance committees encouraging them to be active.
