A true businessman understands the art of entry and exit from a business and Ritam Gupta is truly one of those rare people. The Web 3 entrepreneur who is known for his startup DeFi11 has now made a successful exit from the company.

Ritam Gupta’s hardwork and dedication towards his Web 3 project helped it gain new heights and immense popularity in the market. And now he has sold it to a European Web3 Gaming Studio VulcanForged.

Ask him about his next project and Ritam tells that he is now aiming for something bigger. Sharing more details, he says that he is now working on a Web3 Insurance and Security product called ‘Web3Shield’. It is more inclined towards core Web3 problem solving and adoption, while DeFi11 was more of a Web 3 focussed use case in gaming.

Parallely, he has plans for his other venture studio, NonceLabs (NonceBlox) (www.nonceblox.com) as it continues to provide Web 3 development services to notable projects of the space.

Ritam Gupta talks about his learnings from his recent experience of exit and says that there are no endings and no beginnings. “For a value creator, every single second of life is an end, as well as new beginning. So taking one step at a time is the approach we should follow, because every second will bring you new challenges and new ways to overcome those challenges.” he says.

He spills beans about his journey so far and the challenges he has faced and says that his journey has been full of ups and down. “Starting a business from ground up is never an easy journey, and takes a lot from you as an individual. However, it is always important to stick to your basics and do the hard work heads down to ensure you attain success.”

Even though Ritam is proud of his decision and is ready to take on greater challenges, he says that it wasn’t easy to exit from DeFi11. He says that the project has always been a baby to him and it was never easy to let it go. But he believes that there’s a right time for everything and the time to exit from the project had come.
