FM Sitharaman: This Tech Summit is a very good example of how we can leverage inclusive growth, showcase the capabilities and skill sets from India

In a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Global Tech Summit team, led by Pulsus Group CEO Srinubabu Gedela, highlighted the value of global tech summits in promoting the G20 Economy and the Vizag Tech Summit 2023.

The Minister pledged the support and collaboration of her ministry, asking the Global Tech Summit leaders to aggressively promote the G20 economy while outlining India’s comprehensive, forward-thinking, and decisive G20 presidency, which includes a number of scheduled summits in 56 cities. The meeting’s keynote speaker, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, said: “This Tech Summit is a very good example of how we can leverage inclusive growth, showcase the capabilities and skill sets from India and our technological advancements as a nation, but also from the country’s perspective to integrate software into industrial automation.”

She expressed excitement about India’s development narrative, investment opportunities, reforms in India, and the push by the government to strengthen the economy further lead the G20 Vision as its president during her conversation with the Summit’s organisers.

CEO and MD of Pulsus Group Srinubabu Gedela, who is in charge of the delegation for the Vizag Tech Summit 2023, said “The follow-up Global Tech Summits will take place throughout India’s main cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, during India’s G-20 presidency. Our objective is for India to contribute to innovation and job development in our nation while also achieving the trillion-dollar economic objectives.”

A wide range of industries is covered by the Vizag Tech Summit, which has tech workshops on pharmatech, edutech, agritech, fintech, metaverse, and biotech as well as startup fest and prizes that will promote equitable economic growth and technological advancements.

Meetings will be held in G20 nations at the Vizag Tech Summit in 2023. The principal organiser of the Vizag Tech Summit has drawn up plans to hold international tech summits in the key cities of the G20 countries, including Seoul, Osaka, Brisbane, Riyadh, Rome, London, Toronto, and New York. These summits will be held in addition to Vizag.

After his discussion with the finance minister, Gedela stated, “We support the type of improvements that the government is considering making it even better to attract investment and push growth in the IT industry.” The summits’ main goal, according to Gedela, is to attract investments by highlighting the prospects related to India’s digital infrastructure, consumption pattern, ease of doing business, and strong governance.

According to Srinubabu, the upcoming tech summits provide Indian businesspeople, tech experts, and students from home and abroad the chance to network, collaborate, and experience what it’s like to conduct business in India, the world’s digital superpower.

The Andhra Pradesh government, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, and the Pulsus Group are behind the event. The event is anticipated to result in the signing of projects worth Rs 3,000 crore.

The culmination of the Vizag Tech Summit 2023 will take place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on February 16–17 of that year, following investor summits in 11 significant cities across the globe.
