Goa CM Pramod Sawant Halts Convoy to Aid Accident Victims; Inaugurates Projects and Engages with Public

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant exhibited compassion and leadership as he halted his convoy on the Canacona Highway late at night to assist accident victims. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, where visuals from the scene depicted several individuals gathering to aid the victims. Prompt action was taken, with police swiftly arriving at the spot and an ambulance being summoned.

Earlier in the day, Sawant participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Abhiyan in Cuncolim, South Goa. Expressing gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Central Cabinet’s decision to implement political reservation for the ST community in Goa, Sawant lauded Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar for initiating the Punyadaan Yojana. Sawant’s remarks were shared on social media platform ‘X’, emphasizing the trust and love of the people in the prospect of a renewed term for the Modi government.

Furthermore, Sawant inaugurated the Verna Football Arena at Verna Nuvem, alongside Law Minister Aleixo Sequeira and other dignitaries. The arena, constructed at a cost of Rs.10 Crore, is expected to bolster football culture and promote the development of other sports in the region.
