Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, today called to all Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists in Gujarat to work for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while remaining in the ruling party.

Mr Kejriwal stated that BJP workers should continue to receive “salary” from the BJP while working for AAP “from within.”

Mr Kejriwal said during a news conference in Rajkot on the final day of his two-day tour to poll-bound Gujarat that BJP workers will benefit from all of the “guarantees” he promised people if his party wins power in the state.

“We are not interested in BJP politicians. The BJP’s leaders can be retained. The BJP’s ‘panna pramukhs,’ or workers in villages, booths, and talukas, are flocking to us. I’d want to ask them what the BJP handed them in exchange for their years of dedication to the party.” The national convener of the AAP inquired.

Mr Kejriwal stated that the BJP does not provide free and high-quality education, healthcare, or energy to BJP employees and their families, but that the AAP will look after their needs.

“You (BJP employees) can remain in the party while working for AAP. Many of them are paid (by the BJP), so take the money but work for us since we don’t have any “he said.

“When we create a government, we will offer free power to everyone, including you. We will supply you with free 24-hour power and construct nice schools for your children to receive free education. We would provide free and high-quality therapy to your family members, as well as ₹1,000 to ladies in your family (as an allowance) “He stated.

Mr Kejriwal, in his appeal to BJP workers, stated that staying in the BJP and guaranteeing its success after 27 years of government is pointless.

“I’d want to advise all BJP employees to stay and work for the AAP. You are astute; you work for AAP from within “He added.

He brought up the recent attack on Gujarat AAP general secretary Manoj Sorathiya and predicted that many more attacks will be carried out “on the people of Gujarat for supporting AAP.”

“The attack on Manoj Sorathiya demonstrates the BJP’s desperation. It is unable to comprehend what to do. It is on the verge of defeat “He stated.

Kejriwal stated that the AAP is not like the Congress and would not be frightened by the ruling party.

He said he was challenging the ruling BJP “You’ve dealt with Congress thus far, but we’re AAP members. Sardar Patel and Bhagat Singh are our role models “.

Mr. Kejriwal stated that if the BJP believes it can terrify AAP by planning such assaults, it is mistaken.
“We’re not going to be afraid. We are not afraid. We shall battle against injustice and corruption with all of our might. Gujarat’s six crore inhabitants now have a choice (in AAP). They will reply to the BJP’s 27 years of misrule “He said.

He urged people not to resort to violence.

“I’d want to inform the public that the number of assaults against AAP will rise in the following 2-3 months, not just on the individuals. They will target those who indicate they would vote for AAP. Those who speak out against the BJP will be targeted. They intend to target a big number of individuals “According to the AAP leader.

He advised people not to resort to violence, but rather to be patient and show their displeasure by voting out the BJP using the (EVM) button.

The Delhi Chief Minister, who has announced a series of “guarantees” in an effort to reach out to various sections of society in Gujarat, stated that during his multiple visits to the state, he met representatives of the police, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, health workers, traffic cops, gramme Raksha dal (GRD), auto drivers, and home guards, among others.

The AAP’s head stated that he will meet with each group separately in the coming days.

“We’re running out of time. You should all promote us in your own unique ways. Promote us, especially on social media… Set social media ablaze. I’d want to encourage you all to promote the AAP on social media. We will meet with you separately to discuss your concerns “He stated.

Gujarat assembly elections are scheduled for December this year, in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Mr Kejriwal also chastised the state administration for constituting a committee of three ministers to hear protesting organisations’ issues.

“Your goal is incorrect. You do not wish to (resolve the issues of protesting groups). You will deceive them by offering them lollipops. I’d want to remind everyone not to listen to them “He stated.

The AAP chief is expected to attend a ‘townhall’ gathering of sarpanches and ‘village computer entrepreneurs’ in Surendranagar today, the final day of his two-day Gujarat visit.
