Medically Speaking Presents Sushruta Awards: The first televised health conclave at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi

The mission of the conclave is to create Bharat’s 1st Televised Health Awards focusing on Health Workers, Volunteers (PM-JAY Card Makers, ABHA & NGOs), Beneficiaries (PM-JAY, PMBJP, Social workers), Doctors (District Level), Nurses, Hospitals, Medics (Pharmacists), and Officials behind the implementation of public health programs.

Medically Speaking presents the Sushutra Awards at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The first televised health conclave honors the Antyodaya and Sevadharis. The Chief Guest for the conclave is Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare. The summit will go live on NewsX & India News on 8th February, starting at 10 am. There will be 10 panel discussions held throughout the day. The Sushruta Award ceremony is scheduled to start from 4 PM onwards.

The awards have been named after the father of surgery, Sushruta, whose text the ‘Sushruta Samhita’ is perhaps the oldest ancient treatise on medicine and surgery in the world.

The logo is inspired by the silhouette of Sushruta, incorporating the ‘yugmashanku yantra’, a surgical instrument described and used in ancient India.

Panel discussions will feature beneficiaries of PM-JAY, Jan Aushadhi, National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission, TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, and others. Keynote presentations by Mission Directors on the status & rollout of major GoI Health Sector initiatives. Trophies will be awarded to health workers, volunteers, pharmacists, ASHA workers, hospital heads, and officials who have set benchmarks in scheme roll-outs.
