Celebrations are in order for the renowned couple and actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who recently took to social media to share the exciting news of their impending parenthood, expecting a baby in September 2024. Given the frequent discussions about Deepika’s fitness regimen, we delved into finding a video snippet where the Bajirao Mastani actor sheds light on her preferred way to kick off her day.

In the shared video snippet by Bollyzone, Deepika emphasized the importance of starting her day with a workout routine. She expressed, “Starting my day with a workout is really important. I may not be able to work out 6-7 days a week but at least 3-4 times a week. I have to start my day with it.”

Taking a cue from Deepika’s routine, here’s why incorporating a workout into your morning can be beneficial.

Experts emphasize that beginning the day with physical activity is a fundamental habit that positively impacts overall health. According to fitness expert Garima Goyal, integrating movement into the morning routine offers numerous benefits for both body and mind. Goyal explains, “From a physical perspective, it jumpstarts the metabolism, initiating calorie burning throughout the day. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a brief workout, or a yoga session, these activities enhance cardiovascular health, improve flexibility, and aid in weight management.”

Beyond the physical advantages, engaging in morning exercise profoundly influences mental well-being. Goyal notes that physical activity triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural mood elevators, which significantly influence emotional state. “This uplift in mood sets a positive tone for the day, reducing stress and anxiety. Moreover, morning exercise has been associated with enhanced cognitive function and improved focus throughout the day,” added Goyal.

Establishing the habit of morning movement can be as simple as allocating 20-30 minutes each morning for a workout routine or brisk walk. Goyal emphasizes the importance of consistency, stating that making it a daily practice reinforces the habit and ensures that the positive effects accumulate over time.

“Develop a regular exercise regimen incorporating cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility exercises. Consistency is key for long-term benefits. Choose activities that you enjoy to sustain it over the years,” advises Goyal.
