Goa CM Pramod Sawant Pays Homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 394th Birth Anniversary

In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis participated in celebrations at Shivneri Fort. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais led tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Monday, marking the 394th birth anniversary of the revered warrior king. Sawant garlanded the statue of Shivaji Maharaj in Goa, while Governor Bais offered floral tributes to his portrait in Raj Bhavan.

Mumbai Metropolitan Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, MP Rahul Shewale, and Shiv Sena workers joined the ceremony. Former MLA Tukaram Kate thanked CM Shinde for his contributions.

In Nagpur, Maharashtra, crowds gathered to offer Aarti on the streets, joining nationwide celebrations of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy. Known for founding the Maratha Empire, Shivaji Maharaj is hailed as one of India’s greatest warriors. His birth anniversary, observed annually on February 19, commemorates his enduring impact on Indian history and culture.
