The relationship between India and the US today has an impact on the rest of the world, according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who stated this during a press conference on Wednesday. This is because many nations look to the association both individually and bilaterally in the hopes of finding the solutions that the world is seeking in numerous areas.
“I believe that the state of the world today is affected by our interaction. There are many nations who look to us both individually and bilaterally for some of the improvement and answers that they think will benefit the globe in many ways “Jaishankar stated during the news conference.
Jaishankar emphasised that the visit was extremely pleasant and he had some really nice meetings with the Ministers in the US, describing the bilateral dialogues as robust, friendly, and fruitful.
He continued by saying that the bilateral discussions were couched under the guise of bigger global concerns and that there was a very high degree of consensus despite the fact that India and the US occasionally had different objectives.
“That’s the sort of broad sense of a very solid, positive, productive bilateral conversation that I want to give you,” Jaishankar said in a statement during the briefing. “But framed in the context of larger global challenges where there was a very high degree of convergence on how we look at those challenges, we may articulate it a bit differently as we are oppositions and our priorities at some times will be different.”
The External Affairs Minister described the trip to Washington as comfortable and emphasised that, although not always agreeing on every detail, both countries know how to accommodate one another and cooperate.
The positive component of the relationship, according to Jaishankar, is that we now recognise the need to create room for one another and that we can cooperate even when we do not totally agree on all points of an issue.
Additionally, the EAM spoke with the US Congress, and the two parties had a fruitful talk on the state of the semiconductor sector and the ease of conducting business in India.

The high-level United Nations General Assembly discussion in New York was wrapped up on Saturday by Jaishnakar. In New York from September 18 to 24, the EAM was present.
Notably, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin invited Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar at the Pentagon on Monday for an expanded honour cordon ceremony.
Earlier on Tuesday, during a joint news conference, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken added that the US-India cooperation is one of the most important in the world.
