During his 9th Independence Day address from the Red Fort, Prime Minister Modi recalled Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji’s catchphrase, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the Indian flag at the renowned Red Fort in New Delhi on August 15 as India commemorates the special 75th anniversary of its Independence.

Lal Bahadur Shastri and his iconic “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” phrase, which continues to be a significant source of inspiration for people, were mentioned by PM Modi in his speech. Then he mentioned Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who changed the well-known catchphrase to “Jai Vigyan.” In addition, PM Narendra Modi added “Jai Anusandhan” to “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, and Jai Vigyan” while highlighting the importance of innovation in driving the nation’s progress.

The PM added that he had complete faith in today’s young and noted how innovation and research had produced significant changes like the burgeoning digital payments industry and India’s fintech boom, among other things, which had made the country a prominent player on the world stage.

PM Modi supports “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan.”

“We will always remember Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji’s slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.” Later, AB Vajpayee added the phrase “Jai Vigyaan” on it. There is currently additional requirement to add: “Jai Anusandhan” (research & innovation). Greetings to Jawan, Kisan, Vigyan, and Anusandhan “PM Narendra Modi mentioned.

The prime minister also stated that the government is making every effort to ensure that young people receive adequate funding for conducting research across all fields. He praised the Digital India movement and mentioned that young people from tier 2 and tier 3 cities are leading the companies.
