Passengers were inconvenienced when many trains were delayed owing to foggy weather conditions, according to railway officials on Thursday.
Railway authorities said that the Hyderabad-New Delhi Express, Kalka-Howrah Netaji Express, Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodhi Express, and Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express were all running 1:30 hours late. While the Barauni-New Delhi Special, Ayodhya Cantt-Delhi Express, Rajgir-New Delhi Shramjeevi Express, and Pratapgarh-New Delhi Padmavat Express were all running 1:45 hours late.
The Raigarh-Nizamuddin Express and the Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express are both running late by 3:30 hours, according to authorities.
While the Lucknow-New Delhi Express, Raxaul-Anand Vihar Sadbhavna Express, Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express, and Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Express are all delayed by 1:45 hours, 2:30 hours, and 2 hours, respectively.
Northern Railways stated in a statement that many trains were also delayed earlier on Christmas owing to limited visibility.
