Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after he felt uneasy and complained of shortness of breath. According to ABP, the ‘Shahenshah’ underwent an angioplasty and is fine now. However, the hospital is yet to release a statement on the same.

This development comes hours after Big B shared a cryptic post on X, formerly known as Twitter. In it, he wrote that he would always be grateful to fans. Following this, fans wished him a speedy recovery and offered him their support.

Amitabh Bachchan has been battling a series of minor health issues over the last few years. He recently injured his wrist during a shoot. He also tested positive for Covid-19 twice, once in 2020 and then in 2022.

Big B, however, remains an integral part of the film industry despite his health scares. ‘Vijay’ is gearing up for the release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, his second Telugu film after ‘Sye Raa’ (2019). The sci-fi action drama is directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame and features Prabhas in the lead. The pan-India biggie also features Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in key roles. Bachchan is also part of Rajinikanth ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The director is best known for his work on ‘Jai Bhim’, starring Suriya. Vettaiyan has a star-studded cast that includes Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati.
