PM Modi addressed the nation on his radio program Mann Ki Baat.

PM Modi recalled the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which took place in the run-up to the 75th anniversary of India’s independence on August 13-15. He expressed gratitude to the public for helping to make the campaign a huge success.

This is the 92nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, the first of which aired on October 3, 2014. In recent years, each new episode of the show has aired on the last Sunday of every month, with the most recent episode airing on July 31, and the next on September 25.

The prime minister solicits ideas from citizens several days in advance for each edition of his speech. People can use the NaMo app to share their ideas, or they can record their messages by dialing 1800-11-7800.

According to PM Modi, Amrit Mahotsav celebrations were seen not only in India but also in other countries around the world.

Modi urged the citizens to actively participate in the annual ‘Poshan Maah’ against malnutrition. Every year, the month of September is designated as Rashtriya ‘Poshan Maah’ in order to increase community mobilisation and participation.

The Prime Minister said, “The development of Amrit Sarovars has turned into a mass movement.” Across the country, commendable efforts can be seen.”

According to the prime minister, “Millets are now classified as a superfood and a lot is being done in the country to promote millets. Along with focusing on related research and innovation, FPOs are being encouraged so that production can be increased.”

PM Modi also expressed his gratitude towards the Digital India initiative, as it enabled digital entrepreneurs to rise across the country.

PM Modi also urged citizens to take inspiration and learn from the people of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. He said, “The lifestyle and the culture of the mountains teach us that we shouldn’t feel pressurized under difficult situations as that is the only way to stand triumph in such situations.”

PM Modi concluded the address by wishing everyone on Naukahi, which means new food and is celebrated in Odisha, he also wished on Haritalika Teej which is on August 30th. He also added, “All these festivals are symbols of our cultural prosperity and viguor.” He also recalled Major Dhyanchand, as August 29th marks as his birth anniversary which is celebrated as National Sports Day. He showed immense pride in the young players and said they help to keep the national flag high on the world stage.
